Train Man

Blugh. Glargh. UGH. FEELINGS.

care-bears-grumpy-bear

I don’t like to admit that I’m a romantic. In fact, I go out of my way to prove that I am bitter, cynical single female who needs not this emotion you humans call love.

But then…urgh, ARGH, but then I’ll catch myself listening to a certain song or watching a certain movie and then all those girlie feelings will bubble to the surface and then it’s all tears and swelling hearts and BLARG!

Up until recently, I’ve been able to keep these episodes private. But then…Train Man. Freaking Train Man.

Or Densha Otoko if you want to be Japanese about it.

Extra Life

Dear world: My friend Dan is doing a fundraiser called Extra Life. On November 2, he will be playing video games for a full 25 hours straight to help raise money for Children’s Miracle Network.

I have agreed to perform a Whitless Letter live (which you can vote for on my wetangent page) and Errol will be livestreaming a video game with Dan as well (where you can witness the frustration firsthand). He has already gotten his goal which is amazing, but if he gets to $1,200.00 I will be forced to play a horror game by myself for a full fifteen minutes. Errol might be there too.
I don’t want to do this. I really don’t want to do this. Me playing horror games is like trying to put a cat into a bath. But I also don’t want children to get sick. And so if you are so inclined, feel free to donate to the “Watch Manda lose her mind” fund. It’s for the kids. And your entertainment, but mostly for the kids.

New Vids!

Once I finish this game, I’d like to review it properly, but for now here’s a Let’s Play series I have begun with my friend Dan! It is the first part of many!

If you’re interested in seeing the story but don’t own a PS3 or play games, then check it out!

Also, here is the newest Dining and Dating! Don’t forget, you can send in questions!

Turkey vultures!

Well, this weekend is Canadian thanksgiving (or as I like to call it, REAL thanksgiving). I am currently at my grandma’s in Kincardine, and this is being posted from my phone as my grandma does not have a computer or internet signal.

THUNDERCLAP

Halloooooo! This week has gotten a bit busy, so there’s not really a proper blog post, BUT there is something to talk about! For those of you who don’t know, Errol is in a band called Debs and Errol.

They are geeky and they are awesome and they have a new EP coming out very soon called CTRL+ALT+Duets! It’s a series of awesome parody songs and promises to be extremely entertaining.

But they need your help! They have signed up with this app called Thunderclap, which will automatically update your facebook/twitter with a post about the EP on the day that it is released. It doesn’t require any money, just your facebook/twitter information. That’s it!

BUT they need at least 100 people to sign up for it in order to work. So please! Take a look see and sign up! You don’t even need to like the EP! Just be satisfied that you helped spread the word. Thanks guys!

My Neighbour Errol: Group Chat

Have you ever been to a friend’s house with a particularly hyper dog? You know the type. Your finger barely hovers over the doorbell before a barrage of barking comes hurtling towards you with crazy spasms of joy.

Let's face it...this is an excuse to post pictures of crazy dogs.

Let’s face it…this is an excuse to post pictures of crazy dogs.

You try to calm him down, but he can barely contain the excitement for his new found friend and the only thing that will keep him from mauling you with love is the NEXT person that happens to come to the door. Read the rest of this entry
